It’s been since CD Projekt Red last unveiled a look at the highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077. Today, the company has released a new trailer showing off what gameplay will look like when the game comes out next year.The demo footage appears to be a condensed version of the one, and it shows off more of the actual gameplay for Cyberpunk 2077. As the demo explains, there are no set classes in Cyberpunk, although the demo does show off two differently built characters: a “strong solo” player built around strength and direct combat and a stealthier “netrunner” character designed around hacking and manipulating technology around the game world.

The E3 2019 cinematic trailer shows us a very different Dexter DeShawn from the affable fixer we met in last year’s gameplay demo. These hacking implants are different that the ones we saw in 2018.While we don’t know the exact nature of this character or their abilities, it appears that some cybernetic equipment is capable of interfering with other people’s cyberware. We saw something similar to this in the original gameplay demo, where V was able to hack into an enemy’s weapon and prevent it from firing.Things might get a bit more intense than just hacking. In the release date trailer, we hear a character tell us “no one’s gone through to the other side,” assumedly continuing with “and come back.” We then see V climb into a tub full of ice and be transported into what appears to be an all-digital realm. This also might explain Keanu Reeves’ Johnny Silverhand appears to be a hologram - it’s possible that his consciousness exists solely in cyberspace, and that he isn’t a living person at all.Worried Cyberpunk 2077 is due in, well, 2077?
